PL: Zespół CBB Ensemble jest nierozerwalnie związany z pierwszą w Polsce szkołą muzyki i tańca Afryki Zachodniej, City Bum Bum, założoną w 2003 r. przez Wojtka Pęczka. Oto po przeszło dekadzie wspólnych występów jesteśmy szczęśliwi mogąc podzielić się z Wami naszą debiutancką płytą: "Doni Doni". Doni Doni - z jęz. ludzi Malinke zamieszkujących dużą część Afryki Zachodniej: pomału, pomału - jest tyle delikatną autoironią, co i swego rodzaju filozofią niespieszności i uważności w czasach, w których cywilizacja zdaje się podążać w przeciwnym kierunku. Przede wszystkim muzyka, którą oddajemy Wam jest wiarą w miłość, szacunek i tolerancję między ludźmi i kulturami świata. "Starożytne dźwięki przyszłości" - przekaz starej sztuki wciąż się odradza i zyskuje na aktualności. Z radością i wdzięcznością, życzymy dobrego odbioru, CBB Ensemble.

ENG: CBB Ensemble is inextricably linked to Poland's first school of
West African music and dance - City Boom Boom, which was founded in 2003 by Wojtek Peczek. Having performed together for more than a decade, the CBB Ensemble is delighted to share with you its debut album Doni Doni. Doni Doni is a term used by the Malinke people living in West Africa and it means 'slowly slowly', which is somewhat auto-ironic, where our group is concerned. However we believe it's important to stay true to this philosophy while so many others rush through life. Above all, our music values faith, love, respect and tolerance between all people and all cultures.
"Ancient sounds for the future " offers messages from the past which are still relevant today.
